I admit, before kids, I could have cared less about organic - I just assumed it was "overpriced rich people food. I thought Whole Foods was a waste of money and loved the smell of a good clean house. Now that I have my son, my perception has changed with what I feed him, his surroundings, and what we, as a family, are putting into our bodies. I purchased this book and the other "easy" cookbook and it's like comparing apples to oranges. I loved this book, the writing of the book, and the down to earth way of explaining why it's important to invest in in your health by choosing carefully what you eat, cleaning products, and body products. We have been using the "honest" product for quite some time - and I LOVE it. This book helped me to understand what exactly all of those "big word" chemicals were, preservatives work, and how they break down our body and our environment. As I stated in my review in regards to the "Easy" cookbook which I also purchased, it just wasn't for me and is not realistic/aligns with my life style. "The Honest Life" is practical, informative, and down to earth.

BalasHapusI bought these water filters to replace my General Electric filters and they work just as good as the more expensive filters. They fit perfect and no water leaks in the refrigerator. No adapters required or special o rings and they are real easy to install. The best priced filters on the market and they make the water very pure and good taste as well!

BalasHapusI took a risk based reading the initial reviews and am really excited to see how well it worked. I installed it in about 30 seconds, twisted on firmly, no leaks. It works great! Ran about 64 oz. of water through it, saw a little carbon, but cleaned up real quick. This is a great buy and value. I am going buy a three pack next.
BalasHapusI was apprehensive given the spotty reviews so far. However, I opted to buy one and give it a try. Works great. It was a bit (15 sec) more difficult to get in because of the tight O-ring but I spent more time (another few seconds) getting the orientation correct (with the tabs on top, lining up with the top fridge receiver slots). Once I pushed up and twisted and heard the swoosh of water filling it up, I knew I was good. Ran about two or three 32 ounce cups of water to clean it out and I was good to go. Checked for leaks later in the day and all was good. Would recommend and definitely buy again.

BalasHapusWe purchased a 3 pack to use in the office. Have used two so far and no problems. The Aviditi filter works as good if not better then the GE one that is more money. There is a little carbon once opened but as you should do with any filter run about a half gallon of water through it first. We are happy with them and will buy them again.
