Maxell 723815 LR03 Cell Battery

Maxell 723815 LR03 Cell Battery

found this deal on here after looking on ebay,bizrate,wal-mart's. again i found a great deal on triple A batteries. anyway i waited to write a review on these bulk batteries because i wanted to see if they held their charge unlike some others i have bought in the past. anyway way better deal /price than walmart's or any other store in my area and they did hold their charge. 3 dollars under the price of any store in my area and shipped free, can't beat that deal anywhere.oh and i bought them at christmas time when most stores had already ran out of stock, so i had no problem with buying them off amazon and getting them a couple days later right to my front door without having to slip and slide my way to the stores. : ).oh and it saved me time and money for gas.hahahaha.anyway i give it a thumbs up for a good deal.

  2. It's hard to gush over batteries, but 1) they are a good price 2) they work like a battery should and 3) they appear to be lasting as long as the copper tops that were previously in our remotes, etc. If that changes, I will let you all know.

  3. These work and are the best bulk price I have found. If you got toddlers running around you need these. Dad approved.

  4. Batteries arrived in a timely manner and were exactly what I ordered. There expiration date was a couple years from now. Very happy with my purchase and am about to place another order.

  5. The ratio of amount of energy you get per dollar with these batteries if far superior then any others available. They don't last the longest, but if you can live with replacing them slightly more often, you'll get much more bang for your buck.

I bought these for general use for items that cannot use nimh rechargeables (because of their lower voltage). These have an average voltage of 1.58-1.6v. The expiration date on the batteries I got were almost 5 years from date of purchase. After 6months of storage, the few that remain show a voltage drop of less then 0.02v.

I tested these in a small black diamond headlamp to compare to other batteries. These lasted roughly 80hrs. Duracell ultra lasted about 90hrs. Amazon's lasted about 75hrs. Harborfreight lasted about 75hrs. Energizer Rechargeables lasted about 40hrs (any rechargeable wouldve had the same result). So as you can see they dont really last as long as others ( I know the duracell's I tested for sure, I'm confident there are others ), but if they aren't critical to last the longest ( IE in a headlamp where you dont want to carry spare batteries around ) then they are a great economical battery. If you are using these for camera flash or something else that drains a lot of power quick - you might want to look into lithiums - they'll server your purpose better.

I used subscribe and save to save money on them, definitely made it worth it (even if you only get one shippment).

  6. These batteries are just great. I was looking for the best price on batteries when I found these Maxell AAA and AA packs. These were pretty much the best price on Amazon when considering unit cost and quality.

After ordering these I stumbled upon 100 Packs of Alkaline batteries at my Lowes for just $20! They're lasting just as well as any other AA and AAA batteries I have used. And 100 for $20 is much cheaper than anything I have found.

  7. Again batteries made in China.
I know we cannot expect much better, but these seem a tad better than the Amazon Basics.
    Still worth the $$

  8. So far I've had a great experience with these batteries. When I first received them I was a bit surprised by how small the box was (fit in the palm of my hand) but then again AAA's are not very big. We've used these on various things, including toys (LOTS of toys), wall clocks, LED book lights and electronics. Good battery life and I have not had any issue with any of them leaking. These are great (especially for the price) and far cheaper than what I'd pay in stores.

  9. Batteries are a small fortune and I have a bunch of gadgets that use them. I have always used the big 2 brands, but this was a great price, so I gave them a shot. Man am I glad I did!

First thing I noticed was that these batteries new measure 1.61 volts compared to the 1.59 volts of the others. I have a electronic shop tool that I use daily that eats batteries by the pair in one day. These Maxell batteries lasted noticeably longer, probably due to the slightly higher voltage (the tool's electronics usually shut off around 1.4 volts).

.02 volts higher isn't much, and isn't enough to damage anything, but possibly is what makes a difference in longevity. Just a theory, but irrespective, they are at least as good as the others for much less moola.

    Definitely will be buying more...
